Dear friends we have four Mindful walks planned for next week to help your mindfulness practice.
On Monday 3rd November we’ll be back at Stormont Estate for a beautiful Autumn walk. We will meet at the FREE car park at the Stormont Estate. The car park is off the Upper Newtownards Road, past the main gates near the sports pitches. We will walk together in mindfulness and enjoy the woodland trail. There are many lovely quiet and natural woodland trails in the park and we will follow these under the mature beech trees and meadows. This is a beautiful walk which will take approx’ 2 hour. Wear sturdy footwear and dress for the outdoors.
See the details of the walk below.
On Tuesday at 10am we’re back for our now regular weekly walk in Ornagefield Park East Belfast meeting at the Dunraven Park entrance. We will walk in the beautiful Orangefield Park. The Park has had lots of development work carried out including rerouting the Knock River so that it runs through the park. There are lovely pathways and wild flower plantings to enjoy.
On Wednesday we have our weekly lunch time walk in Botanic Gardens. You are invited to join us for an autumn walk in the beautiful Belfast Botanic Gardens. We will enjoy walking solidly, in the present moment and enjoy the seasons changing. We will meet at 1pm in front of the Palm House and enjoy the cool breeze, the birds singing and hopefully the blue skies and sunshine.
Then on Thursday we’re at Belfast Castle for a wondeful walk in the beautiful Castle gardens. We’ll meet at 10:30am (meeting in Belfast Castle car park on the left, at the top of the castle driveway).
Come join us!
over the next three weeks we welcome two new Mindfulness facilitators who will lead our Mindful Walks. Barbara and Maddy both work with Groundwork NI and are trained to deliver our healing and nourishing practice of walking meditation.
We have a full program of walks coming up for you and we hope you can join us as often as possible. As always the walks are free, open to those new to the practice of mindfulness along with those with some experience and we will always have a full introduction to the practice of walking meditation before each walk.
Remember to dress for the cool Autumn weather!
